About My Clients

My goal as a therapist is to help provide tools to manage symptoms while also exploring root causes to issues. I utilize tools/ techniques that allow for deeper level processing and healing. My Background and Approach
My approach to psychotherapy is from a person centered, holistic, and integrative lens. I focus on the mental, emotional, physical, energetic and spiritual in my work with clients. My goal as a therapist is to provide guidance and encouragement to clients to help them connect to their inner resources, power, and intuition. I am an LPCC and a Certified Hypnotherapist. I have my Masters in Counseling from the University of San Diego and have been working in the mental health field for over 12 years. I began my career working with children in group homes who had experienced abuse or neglect. I was also the Counseling Director at a non profit that works with the Native American community in San Diego County for over 10 years and I still continue to work with the organization. I also have experience in group private practice working with diverse populations, specializing in working with anxiety and trauma.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that each one of us has so much potential within. I think that support, compassion, and connection can go a long way. I am always humbled to be able to witness and support others on their journeys in healing. I am very passionate about holistic and integrative healing. I personally began exploring and benefiting from alternative healing modalities. Due to this I trained in hypnotherapy and energy medicine. I love exploring and learning new ways to bridge the gaps of psychology, energy and spirituality. The majority of my work has been with underserved populations and I continue to be connected and passionate with this. I think everyone deserves healing spaces and quality care!
