About My Clients

I work with couples and families who experience relationship challenges of all kinds. Individuals I work with run the gamut of the human experience. My clients are often navigating difficult systemic, interpersonal, and internal struggles related to oppression, trauma, marginalized identities, and inequitable systems of power and privilege, such as racism, sexism, ageism, ableism, heteronormativity, and others that contribute to internalized oppression.

My Background and Approach

I am a licensed marriage and family therapy associate (LMFTA) with training and experience in IFS, Treating Internalized Oppression (IO), somatic psychotherapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy. I have received specialized training in IFS through the IFSI (Level 1 trained) and in Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 1 trained). Whether it's working toward better communication and reduced conflict in relationships, meeting difficult developmental transitions in family life, learning new tools as parents and caregivers, or metabolizing trauma and oppression toward a more liberated human experience in individual therapy, it is my honor to work with folks in the therapy space.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Each individual's life experience and sense of being in the world is different and it is my intention to meet you where you are, collaborate on where you want to go, and draw from my training and experience to fine-tune an approach that is specific to your situation, goals, and background. I seek to ally myself with marginalized people and populations. As a cis-gendered, white-bodied woman, I work to recognize imbalanced, systemic power structures woven throughout the sociopolitical matrix and I seek to create a safe and dynamic therapy space where it is normalized to talk about and work with the intersections of identity and experience related to privilege, power, and oppression.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
