About My Clients
As someone who grew up in a dysfunctional or divorced family, you're finding yourself struggling to cope with overwhelming emotions in adulthood. Maybe you've been hurt by your parents, struggle with people pleasing or perfectionism, or have trouble feeling safe in romantic relationships. Whether you're wanting to explore how painful past experiences are continuing to show up in your life, or you're just wanting a safe space to share your story, therapy makes healing possible.
My Background and Approach
As a complex trauma survivor myself, I offer a compassionate & relatable perspective on the healing process. My number one priority is building a genuine, comfortable therapeutic relationship so that you can feel free to explore & be yourself in session. When you work with me, there will be tears, and there also will be lots of laughter.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a life-long advocate for human rights & progressive causes, I view clients through a holistic lens that takes into account their unique histories, systemic experiences, familial relationships, personal values, and unique neurobiology. I believe many of us suffer due to social, systemic, and familial expectations that have, over time, forced us to hide, alter, or shame parts of our most authentic selves.
