Therapy can be a rewarding and compelling endeavor, where we build insight into ourselves- our habits and patterns- and make desirable changes. I will be there, with compassion and curiosity, helping uncover how deeper memories, beliefs, and feelings shape your current relationship dynamics, ways of moving through life, and perceptions of the world. Often, we need help in this area, as this material is unconscious and creates general suffering that we can struggle to recognize and break through on our own.
We will stay with feelings as they arise, and learn to be in the present moment with accompanying physical sensations. Along the way, we will identify coping skills that have formed that are no longer needed, and shore up your strengths and skills for resolving grief and managing stress in the present. Together, we can work towards healing past trauma, or address current stressors and maladaptive behaviors, and help you move forward into the life you envision.
