About My Clients

Do you struggle to feel connected to your sexuality? Does your depression work the graveyard shift? Are your thoughts and emotions disconnected? I know feeling shut down can make life seem like same shit, different day. I'm passionate about working with people who are dealing with these types of challenges. This work can look like everything from starting sessions with affirmation cards to talking through what’s blocking you to ending with guided meditations.

My Background and Approach

I pull from EMDR, Dialectical Behavioral, Narrative, and Solution-Focused therapies to tailor treatment to each client, adapting as I learn more about them. If you’re asking yourself, “does she really want to hear about this?” The answer is “yes!” If it’s about how you feel or how you think, it’s relevant. The more open you are, the more we can get into. Because I utilize resources from multiple therapeutic styles, my treatment for each client is unique. I can provide you with the tools that can best help you unlock what's blocking you, connect deeper to your sexuality, and help you navigate daily challenges.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe there’s a true magic in discovering who you are and learning to feel like your authentic self. For many of us, that process can be complicated and challenging and messy. There are many ways to show up and be present as exactly who we are. As a queer person, I know a lot about learning to be my authentic self. Through my own work, I've explored how much compulsory heterosexuality impacts queer people and how much internalized- misogyny and internalized- homophobia can impact self-worth. I know there is something special about being in a room of other people laughing, and I have a deep love for comedy- TV, movies, stand-up, podcasts. If it makes me laugh so hard on a street corner that a woman driving by pulls over to make sure I'm not crying- I'm into it. Though I work with anyone, regardless of music taste, I have find a special joy in working with other Taylor Swift fans. If this sounds like your cup of tea, feel free to reach out!
