About My Clients
I am skilled in helping teens and adults with issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. This is a safe, healing space for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, & People of Color) clients. For those exploring spirituality (ex. LDS and questioning), I can help you explore your values and beliefs so you can live a more meaningful life.
My Background and Approach
As a psychotherapist, I have worked in several clinical settings, from high schools to major hospitals. I currently clients in-person in Orem, Utah and offer teletherapy services (via Zoom) throughout the states of Utah and California. I am rooted in narrative, justice-based, and experiential theories and practice. My approach is client-focused and ever-curious to aid in the exploration of lived experience. I integrate evidence-based modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, as needed. Based on what you need, we can work to find an approach that works for you!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe our environment shapes so much of our experience. We are individuals with multiple identities, who deserve to have all of those aspects honored. As such, social and environmental justice are important to me and shape my therapy approach. I believe in elevating the experience of minoritized identities, especially those of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC).
