About My Clients

Life can feel overwhelming and stressful. Whatever your reason for seeking support, you don’t have to take this journey alone. As women we often feel shame or guilt in our experiences with pregnancy, postpartum and parenting and we hope to create a safe space to be your authentic self and express all of the things that feel hard or scary to say. We offer virtual therapy as we know how busy life can be and how refreshing it is to find a sense of healing from the comfort of your home.

My Background and Approach

At Bluestone we begin with open-mindedness, insight, compassion and humor in order to support the trust needed within the therapeutic relationship. Our approach is trauma-informed, mindfulness-based, culturally-inclusive and welcomes and affirms all identities. We utilize traditional psychotherapy with a combination of other techniques to empower clients to recognize their innate ability to understand their strengths and support them in the positive change they are hoping to achieve. We are therapists and Moms who know what it’s like to be in therapy and need additional support. Through therapy our clients find that they are better able to manage the roles they hold and find space and time for themselves.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Above all else, I am a human being beyond my training and title. I ground myself in this as we begin our therapeutic relationship to insure that it has a foundation of connection and trust. I believe that in order to have a meaningful and supportive therapeutic relationship it is important to bring my whole self to our sessions. I am naturally curious, insightful and open-minded and I bring humor and compassion to our work. I work to create a safe space where clients can truly feel their authentic selves from the comfort of home. My own lived experiences with postpartum anxiety and birth trauma have highlighted the significant need for perinatal mental health support for parents. Through my own healing and experience with therapy I feel grounded in me in meeting you where you are and helping you gently heal from your own experiences.
