About My Clients

I would be honored to work with anyone who is unafraid to learn and grow, even when it feels terrifying or impossible. Currently, I offer my clients Telehealth services, a sliding fee scale for affordability, and the convenience of evening and weekend appointments. I have experience treating co-occurring disorders, anxiety/depression, substance abuse, mood/personality disorders, trauma/PTSD, and family/relationship issues.

My Background and Approach

Central to my approach is a philosophy of mindfulness, and the idea that how we construct meaning from experience is a matter of personal, intentional choice. The psychotherapy I practice involves careful listening to the difficulties that manifest in a person’s life, then working to unravel these experiences to treat not only symptoms but underlying causes. Therapy is a powerful catalyst in transforming the narrative of our lives, because healing can only occur when the stories we tell ourselves turn into less painful ones. Change is possible, through re-connection (with our true selves and with others), and happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if we only remember to turn on the light.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am passionate about reading, animals (especially dogs), and promoting social equality. I believe that the most obvious, important realities in our lives are often the ones that are hardest to see and talk about, and therein lies the value of therapy.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
