I am a Gottman Level 1 certified counselor. Although I employ other modalities for couples counseling, I find the Gottman techniques to be most effective in helping clients improve their communication with each other.

I offer a safe place for those seeking gender affirming care. I have experience supporting transgender clients throughout all phases of their transition journey. I support and educate parents of trans and non-binary youth. I write letters of readiness and support for hormone therapy. I am an active member of the Gender Affirming Care Collaboration with All Children's Hospital in Tampa, FL. My clients are the true experts- I am an ally and an advocate.

Stress is poison and we can't escape it. We can learn to manage stress in a way that allows us to not feel overwhelmed and depleted. Stress had reached epidemic proportions in our country before the pandemic....now we are at all time high stress levels nationwide. We will figure out the primary culprits responsible for your stress, and then we will find the formula of self care and healthy coping that works best for you.

Calling all women- let's face it, we are faced with external judgements, but the biggest critic is often that voice inside our head. It's my mission to help you REMEMBER how incredibly amazing, powerful, and magical that you really are. It's time to not only put yourself on your to-do list- but move yourself to the top. Ohhh I can hear the guilt and selfish whispers- you will begin to stop that reaction and learn to nurture yourself. Imagine being in love with yourself!

I incorporate metaphysical complementary modalities with clinical therapeutic techniques to achieve healing and wellness. I collaborate with other specialized providers as appropriate to offer a thorough and balanced approach to care.

It's fascinating to have a strong understanding of your attachment style, including the contributing factors. This becomes the foundation for a framework of understanding - who we are, why we do and say the things we do- why we have certain relationship challenges and successes. This knowledge and understanding paves a unique path to healing.

In general I would describe my approach as eclectic, as I incorporate many modalities that are tailored to the individual. The common thread in my approach is processing that is enhanced by the quality of the relationship between client and therapist. We will dig deep together to create the changes you are seeking.
