About My Clients
I help individuals in their 20s and 30s who feel lost, stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, or depressed. They feel like they have what constitutes a good life, but they are confused about why they are unhappy and feel unfulfilled. I help clients uncover all the ways they are being held back from being happier and more successful in their careers and life. Through my practice, I help people find direction, purpose, strength, happiness, and more in control of their life.
My Background and Approach
Working with me, you will find that I am a down-to-earth person who is compassionate, calm, open-minded, honest, and easy to talk with. I am actively engaged in therapy sessions, asking questions and providing feedback. I balance being supportive with also challenging my clients in ways that help them grow. Together, we will work to understand the root causes of your current challenges. Once we develop this understanding, I can help find actionable steps and strategies to find relief and ways to start thriving in your present day. By doing this work, you can rebuild a stronger foundation for your life, creating long-lasting positive changes in your future.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It is very important to create a safe place for all people who want to enter therapy. To make this possible, I believe strongly in the need for therapists to continuously engage in education on issues affecting gender, racial, and sexual minorities. Along with this, I do continuous work self-reflecting on my own bias and privileges that might make it difficult to fully understand and help my clients. I do not also expect my clients to always fit into gender, cultural, sexual, or racial norms and want to know about their own perspectives, values, and interpretations instead of making assumptions.
