About My Clients
My clients have similar personalities and traits. Most are coming in because they have decided they are finished allowing perfectionism and the need for control to continue to prevent them from experiencing congruency with their values and goals in life.
My Background and Approach
I have been in the mental health field since 2004, beginning my career working in a behavioral health inpatient hospital with adults. Since then, I have founded my passion for working with clients in recovery from an eating disorder, pregnant/postpartum parents, those who have experienced trauma, and couples. I have specific trainings that have prepared me to support my clients based on what they need. Some of these approaches I have training in include; Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR, Gottman's Couples Therapy Level 2, Mindful Self-Compassion Therapy and a multitude of trainings, workshops and experience working with eating disorders/disordered eating, body image, perinatal depression, anxiety and OCD, pregnancy & infant loss and trauma (including birth trauma).
