I help women with sexual and pelvic pain, including: painful sex, vaginismus, vulvodynia, dyspareunia, vulvar vestibulitis, IBS, interstitial cystitis, endometriosis, vaginal atrophy, lichen sclerosis and idiopathic pain. Pain isn't a normal part of sex and shouldn't be endured.

I have speciality training and experience helping women and couples address the challenges of pregnancy and postpartum. We can work together to prevent postpartum depression and anxiety, and to treat these issues when they arise. Parenthood was meant to happen in a community context, you don't have to do it alone.

We struggle as well as thrive in our relationships. In couples counseling, we work on creating a deeper understanding of the other person's emotional world, specific needs and how we complement each-other to create a functional and healthy partnership.

My approach to CBT is transdiagnostic, meaning that I pull together helpful ingredients from many different "CBT" therapies and focus on the individual (you). CBT is also an evidence-based approach for specific problems, such at PTSD and insomnia. CBT works.

At the core of ACT is mindfulness and a loving stance towards self and others. It's a wonderful and non-judgmental approach that paves the way for a meaningful, fulfilling life.

I'm certified in Gerontology and have an extensive background helping older adults and caregivers navigate the challenges that come with aging. I also actively promote healthy aging, so if you're interested in quality of life (being sharp and spry), let's connect.
