About My Clients
I provide psychotherapy to children, adults, and families. Both life experiences and relationships change us. My goal is to provide my clients with a nurturing and therapeutic environment of compassion and support to help individuals and families achieve their potential and overcome obstacles to move forward and thrive. My hope is to support my clients to develop clear insight and powerful skills to create optimistic results in important aspects of their lives.
My Background and Approach
My goal has been to understand the complexity of human behavior and through this lens, I have been able to support my clients to explore different ways to live more gratifying and fulfilling lives, including offering support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges/transitions/changes. I have experience providing psychotherapy both long-term and short-term interventions to children, adolescent, adults, and older adults in a variety of settings including community mental health, outpatient & inpatient clinics, palliative and hospice care, health care facilities, and schools. The primary treatment interventions I utilize include evidence-based practices, eclectic and psychodynamic approaches. I enjoy incorporating the creative outlets of art and writing into the therapeutic process whenever a client is interested in doing so. I am also fluent in Spanish and can provide psychotherapy in this language.
