Hi, I'm Hannah (she/they). I'm a queer multiracial therapist and believe in the healing power of relationships where we feel truly seen.

About My Clients

Often, we're taught to shy away from the uncomfortable: the wounds, the hurt places. We label them as “bad” or “problems”, and do whatever we can to cope, instead of healing that pain. I specialize in working with folks who have experienced trauma, feel they don’t fit into society’s boxes, or seek deeper self-exploration. Together, we reconnect to your body and emotions, break out of old patterns that aren’t serving you, and move into the life you want.

My Background and Approach

I offer a space where you can show up as yourself – 100% - without fear of shame or judgment. All parts of you are welcome, even (and often especially) the emotions, thoughts, and impulses that you avoid the most. Together, we can turn towards these experiences, extending care and understanding, and attend to the underlying needs. I use somatic parts work (Internal Family Systems) to help you find new ways of viewing & relating to yourself, your relationships, and your life experiences. Often, our day-to-day struggles are only the tip of the iceberg, and deeper healing invites us to get to know what is under the surface. Together, we invite curiosity and encounter your emotions, behaviors, and patterns with a bit more compassion, creating space to access the confidence and clarity you need to navigate your life.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My practice is anti-racist, non-pathologizing, queer & trans-celebratory, and non-monogamy affirming. The following are core values in my practice. Your inner wisdom: My practice is centered around supporting you in reconnecting with your own wisdom. I believe that each person holds all the wisdom and spaciousness needed for healing. Therapy, and IFS, can be a way of returning home to ourselves. Cultivating relationship: I am here to get to know all of you—not just the easy, charming, or 'good' parts, but also the insecurities, the inner critics, the self-saboteurs. When we get curious, we can unlock the pain points and open pathways to meet underlying needs. Collective liberation: Many of our internal wounds are inflicted by systemic oppression. And, we have often internalized - and maybe even recreated - these patterns inside ourselves and our relationships. Therapy with me integrates healing from these impacts alongside your personal healing and growth.
