About My Clients
I practice trauma-focused therapy for trans youth & young adults ages 13-25 & letters for all ages. My specialty is supporting those processing their gender & sexuality, & trauma survivors' experience with depression, bipolar moods, anxiety, self-harm, suicidality, disability/chronic pain, multiples, dissociation, and histories with violence. I am body, sex, & kink positive, poly-inclusive, & consider impacts of intersectional oppression. I provide surgery & HRT letters (any age) in one session.
My Background and Approach
I am a trauma-informed feminist, sex positive, allied to multiples/alters, kink-positive, & poly inclusive. My practice is centered on compassion, transparency, and intersectionality. I am a feminist, sex-positive, kink-positive, poly inclusive, and strives to empower the individual while validating the impact of social oppression including racism, sexism, cisgenderism, heterosexism, ableism, ageism, sizeism, classism, ethnocentrism, religious imperialism, colonization, and medical gatekeeping. My program models targeting isolated trans and queer populations have been adopted in multiple Midwestern cities and I am an established social justice educator on trans activism and depathologizing, harm reductive trans healthcare.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am committed to servant leadership and have a strong passion for building spaces where the LGBTQPIATS+ community can come together. I believe that one of the greatest sources of strength trans and queer people have is to be together, showing up for each other in ways no one else can. Whatever a person's reasons for wanting support, I strive to foster a comforting space where they feel validated and heard.
