Tried regular talk therapy but hit a wall? I did too and I've found what works.

Depression can be looked at through various lenses. On a physiological level, depression often is our nervous system stuck in a freeze or shut down response. On an emotional level, I've found that underneath the depression are often more complex feelings that need to be supported while they are felt in order for things to be able to shift and get unstuck. I've worked with this energy for over 3 decades and I know first hand how it feels and what works!
I am trained in NARM (NeuroAffective Relational Trauma) which works with attachment trauma. This approach does not require that we delve into the past, we can explore what is showing up in the present moment - in our bodies, in the therapeutic relationship, and how to work with these energies to create more connection, intimacy, ease, and congruence in relationship.
I fuse NARM (Neuroaffective Relational Model), IFS (Internal Family Systems), and Focusing - which are at a rudimentary level Gestalt modalities. The melding of these modalities makes my approach neurobiologically informed, physiologically aware, client-centered, spiritual, non-pathologizing, and present-centered.
I have completed level 1&2 of the NARM training. NARM specializes in working with developmental, relational, complex PTSD, intergenerational, cultural, and attachment trauma. It is a top down and bottom up approach. I have over 300 hours of training completed in this modality.
I have my masters in Mindfulness Based Transpersonal Clinical Counseling. I have a personal meditation and movement practice that allows me to show up with as much presence and awareness in the therapeutic container which infuses and supports my clients to cultivate this presence as well. I honor the wisdom of the client and however this truth is connected to for the client. Whether we call it spirit, source, or wisdom - Presence supports our connection to that inherent resource.
