About My Clients
Those who are navigating faith transitions, religious trauma, purity culture, and grief related to faith deconstruction are especially drawn to my work. I am also passionate about working with individuals who have experienced parentification, are recovering perfectionists, or folks who are neurodivergent and navigating spaces and systems that aren't designed for them.
My Background and Approach
I use an integrative approach where I attune to my client’s goals, needs, and the greater systems that may be impacting them. My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and holistic. To put it simply, I take into account the whole person as well as the relationships, systems of oppression, and barriers that might influence how they show up in the world. So in sessions with clients, we are not simply looking at symptoms, but striving to understand and excavate the deeper places to get the full picture of what’s happening, where it started, and what a path forward could look like. Additionally, I offer EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I completed my Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Regis University in Denver.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
The therapeutic relationship is a microcosm where an individual will get to experience someone honoring their full humanity as well as identify and heal relational wounds—and enhance their ability to connect with others as well as themselves through having the allocated space of therapy to practice and, ideally, a sense of safety within the context of relationships. And, my goal as a therapist is to highlight client strengths and equip and empower them to move about the world with more ease and a sense of belonging. At its best, therapy is a space where your full identity humanity is held, honored, and cultivated.
