Navigating a major life transition? Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, unheard, or misunderstood by those in your life? I help people feel heard and empowered during difficult times, understand the symptoms they are experiencing, and find ways to get unstuck to live the life they are wanting. Together we will explore the traps or life situations that increase or maintain your symptoms and discover how to help you move forward in a way that aligns with your values and goals.
My Background and Approach
I believe the therapeutic relationship is important in the process of change. My goal is to create a warm, empathic, collaborative space where individuals can feel able to be their genuine self. I work from an integrative perspective, drawing primarily from Interpersonal, Cognitive-Behavioral, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) frameworks.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Most of my clients are navigating major life transitions and unhelpful symptoms that are negatively impacting their lives. I work with adults and teens (16+) on a variety of issues including, but not limited to, life transition and adjustment, relationship concerns, anxiety, depression, and stress management. Though I work with a wide range of clients, my areas of expertise are in working with college students, young professionals, and parents navigating the stress of balancing multiple roles. I enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds and recognize the importance of multicultural factors in shaping how one interacts with and experiences the world. My goal is to create a warm, empathic, collaborative space where individuals can feel able to be their genuine self.
