My goal is to help you boldly take the steps needed to conquer your mountain and live life to the fullest. I work with teens and adults going through life transitions, dealing with stress, and women through the pregnancy and postpartum years, and parents giving support and parent coaching
My Background and Approach
My therapy practice is solution focused and based on your own strengths. I enjoy collaborating with clients to find solutions that are best for them to achieve their goals. I am systems minded, meaning that I view each person I work with in the context of their family, school/work, community, religion, and culture. We’ll identify what is troubling you, set goals, and find solutions. While I use primarily Solution Focused and Cognitive-Behavioral techniques I also use a variety of other methods to fit your goals and personality. I have experience working with individuals, families, teens, and children. My aim is to help you find joy and be the best version of yourself that you can possibly be.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Psychology from Biola University, where I graduated cum laude. I earned my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) through the WA Department of Health. I am a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), Washington Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (WAMFT) and PhiChi Honors Society for Psychology. I have experience working with individuals, families, teens, and children with my primary focus being adolescents, individuals dealing with anxiety and depression, and perinatal support. Personal I live in Snoqualmie with my husband and two young sons. Previously I worked as a middle school youth director. I have a love of the outdoors and enjoy hiking, camping, rock climbing, dirt bike riding, and other outdoor activities. I also enjoy photography, cooking, movies, and just spending time with my family.
