I bring a deeper understanding of immigration and acculturation issues through my own experience. I have a lived experience of being from an immigrant family, and navigating the intricate balance between personal, familial, cultural, religious, and national values. I work to create a safe and understanding space for clients to explore their own identities and how they would like most to authentically live them in their current lives.

The majority of my clients I have worked with thus far struggle with some form of anxiety. I have enjoyed helping clients with coping strategies to help reduce their day-to-day experience of anxiety. Through exploration of triggers, I help clients get to a better understanding of why anxiety is affecting them. In my practice, I see how anxiety intersects with marginalized identities, depression, and neurodivergence.

My practice specializes in neurodivergence, and I have worked with ADHDer's, autistic people, and Audhd identified clients. I am passionate about helping neurodivergent clients with their executive functioning and manifesting their identities in ways that feel authentic to them. I have lived experience of my own neurodivergence and learning how to show up to relationships in my life authentically. I work with autistic clients particularly on themes of unmasking in their life.

My approach to feminist therapy involves integrating my own identity with the realities of living in society as a woman. I am passionate about working through the discrimination that women face, as well as exploring the intersectional identities that oftentimes compound the discrimination. I value social justice as a therapist, and actively incorporate it in all of my sessions.

Working through how clients approach their lives philosophically can be a powerful aspect of therapy. Existential therapy allows clients to ask big questions that affect their mental health. I enjoy having these conversations with clients and seeing the change it can make in their lives.

Utilizing unconditional positive regard, I help to create a safe space for clients. I work to de-pathologize the clients and view them as fellow human beings. I help clients feel safe to explore their marginalized identities. Empathy is a primary aspect of person-centered, and creating an authentic relationship with clients can be a powerful space for healing.
