I cherish diversity. Every client represents a rich tapestry woven together from threads of gender identity and expression, ethnicity, national origin, faith background, sexuality, spirituality, life experience, and so much more. While we all emerge from rich cultural backgrounds, we simultaneously represent a culture of one.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Master's degree in Psychology, with a concentration in family, couple, and individual psychotherapy from Our Lady of the Lake University in Houston, Texas. My approach to therapy is client-centered and strengths based. I believe that each individual is the expert on their own life and experience.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
All too often we can find ourselves beaten down and overwhelmed by beliefs and ideas about ourselves that aren’t in alignment with who we truly know ourselves to be in our innermost selves. My ideal client is struggling to hear their own voice because it is being drowned out by a sea of other voices. Together we can sift through the messages of culture, society, family, and workplace to find the core of who you really are, and who you want to be.
