About My Clients

On the outside, everything looks put together, but inside—whether within yourself or in your relationships—you feel disconnected, misunderstood, overwhelmed, and never quite enough. In the world, you may feel different or othered. You long to be truly seen and accepted, to cultivate a deeper, more loving relationship with yourself and those around you.

My Approach to Helping

I believe we all have the innate capacity to grow and transform at any stage of life, and my role is to create a supportive, affirming space where you can safely explore that. Therapy with me is both grounding and challenging—you’ll feel supported but also gently pushed in ways that foster growth. We’ll move beyond just talking, tuning into your body and the patterns that shape your experiences. You might notice me occasionally interrupting—always with care and intention—to slow down and bring awareness to deeper themes that are essential for healing. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all method, I take the time to understand you and what resonates most. Above all, I offer a non-judgmental space where you can show up as your full self. Together, we’ll explore the connections between your past and present, attune to your body’s wisdom, and access the resilience and strengths already within you.

Why I Became a Therapist

My path to becoming a therapist grew from my own healing journey, my teenage immigrant experience, and a deep love for human connection. Moving to the U.S. as a teen, I struggled with belonging, identity, and experiences of oppression. Therapy changed my life, helping me find my voice and heal unseen wounds. I hold a master’s from The Wright Institute and have spent the past seven years helping folks navigate identity, relationships, and belonging—always with the understanding that anxiety and depression often stem from deep, unspoken pain. I support people in gently exploring and healing those parts of themselves. As a Chinese American originally from Hong Kong, I bring both personal experience and professional insight to my work. Having been profoundly impacted by my own therapists, I pour my whole heart into creating a space where others feel seen, understood, and supported.
