About My Clients
I love working with clients of all walks of life, backgrounds, races, ethnicities, ages, faiths, cultures, sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions, abilities, and more! I have a specific passion for and expertise in working with adolescent clients as well as people who struggle with eating disorders and body image issues. I am an ally and especially enjoyeworking with and supporting LGBTQIA+ clients. I also specialize in working with religious trauma and concerns.
My Background and Approach
I believe that you, the client, have everything you need to be the best version of yourself. The only expert on you, is you! I hope to serve as an unbiased sounding board that is focused on helping you see, be comfortable with, and value your true self. Feeling truly understood can help us see past the challenges we face and realize our true potential.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I love working with people who have struggled with feeling different. I hope that in working together, you can come to understand that your differences are what make you unique and powerful! I want to work together to help you love and accept yourself, and set boundaries with people places or things that make you feel unloved or unaccepted. I want you to be able to let in all the love you deserve! I am an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community and want to create a safe space in my office where you can explore your identity and more. I also love supporting individuals who are working through religious trauma or concerns. As someone who has been through my own religious deconstruction, I have deep understanding and empathy for how difficult it can be to navigate personal growth through the lens of changing or leaving behind belief systems, cultures, and communities.
