About My Clients
Grounded Connections Counseling, Inc., is an online psychotherapy group that provides telehealth (online therapy) services across California. We work with diverse adult individuals and couples. We offer services to help couples issues, BIPOC/Social Justice Issues, and LGBTQ+ & gender exploration. We are in network with CIGNA and provide some sliding scale opportunities. My Background and Approach
An integrative approach is used when working with clients to help tailor interventions for each specific client goal. We work closely with you to ensure you are getting your needs met in sessions to help you achieve your desired outcomes. We have additional training in working with the gender diverse & queer community. Additionally, we integrate Gottman Couples Therapy, Attachment Theory and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy in our work with couples.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We believe our lived experiences as individuals in minority communities can have an impact on our mental health through different encounters we may live through. Our practice is made up of people of color whose lived experiences will be in alignment with our clients. We are here to help empower and lift up minority communities through mental health healing. We teach new skills and provide resources that many may not have had the opportunity of learning due to their intersectional identities. Above all else, we stive to create an affirmative, safe healing space that promotes growth and transformation for all.
