My Background and Approach
As a therapist since 2003, a previous Executive Director, Regional Executive Director, & a man who has experienced obstacles preventing him from accessing his full potential, I know the pathway to overcoming those obstacles for men. Seeing a therapist who helped me not overcome the obstacles blocking me from happiness & success, she helped me access my potential that allowed me to transform my personal, relational, & professional life. And I want you to experience the same! I am driven to provide therapists who specialize in men's counseling to help you have the best chance at overcoming these challenges. I have done it, other men have done it, & so can you. We use both talk therapy and non-talk therapy approaches to therapy that are supported by research & shown to be effective. Approaches like: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing, and Neurofeedback Let us help you build a stronger future together!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe many men are stubborn! I can say that as I am one of those stubborn men. After having my first panic attack, I thought I could just "suck it up" & move on. I had a family to provide for, a career to advance, & didn't have time. And this from a man who is also a therapist! It wasn't until I had 2 more panic attacks in front of audiences that the "pain" became great enough that it motivated me to see a counselor. And I thank God I did! I believe that men today experience stressors & challenges that are unique in our world. Men need therapists who specialize in men's counseling. And I believe that when men have a therapist who specializes in counseling men, that transformative experiences can happen. Men have unique strengths that we build upon in therapy. Men have 1 tiny weakness and that's admitting to & accessing the support they need. Let us help you build a stronger future together!
