At Premiere Counseling Services we are a dedicated Telehealth Therapy service and we accept adults age 18 and up. We treat a wide range of mental health issues, like depression, anxiety, sexual abuse, domestic violence, and so much more. We specialize in trauma care for people who have experienced trauma and are seeking treatment to help them cope and get back to living again. My Background and Approach
Joy Johnson is a licensed clinical therapist (LCSW) who has years of experience in working with a wide variety of mental health issues. She is a client-centered therapist who is easy to talk to and explains things well for better understanding in treatment. She has worked in forensic mental health with perpetrators as well as survivors of violent crimes, to treating domestic violence and sex trafficking cases. She uses evidenced-based treatment such as: Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectic behavioral (DBT), Somatic experiencing and much more.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My personal belief is that people can get through hard things when they get a therapist who they can connect to and feel safe with, and who has the knowledge and experience to help you heal in order to get back to living. It has been my experience that people appreciate receiving therapy in a place they feel safe and comfortable in, and that is convenient and secure, which is why we are a dedicated Telehealth therapy service. We met you where you are at psychologically, emotionally and physically and give you the tools you need to get back to living! We are accepting new patients and have immediate openings.
