I'm a curious, compassionate depth-oriented therapist who loves people, and feels humbled and inspired each day by the clients I work with.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker in San Francisco, CA
I'm a masters level NARM therapist and provide trauma therapy through a somatic based lens. NARM (https://narmtraining.com/what-is-narm/) is a developmental trauma treatment modality and the basis of my work with most clients. I'm also trained in both cognitive behavioral and somatically oriented therapy with a focus on trauma. I'm also a certified yoga instructor, with focus on trauma sensitivity and healing.
I frequently work with folks where family based treatment (FBT) was not a fit or you're wanting an in-depth , somatic based approach to recovery. I predominately use the Neuro Affective Relational Model (NARM) and Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT). I'm Certified in Family Based Treatment (FBT) and practice this when indicated--often for young folks with new eating disorders and caregivers available to engage in the process.
I've worked with teens, parents and families since 2015. My work with teens includes forming a connection, humor, and curiosity woven in with structured interventions that focus on building confidence, more connection and insight into feelings, increased communication and relationship skills, supporting self-advocacy and self-expression, and improving family bonds and friendships.
