My Background and Approach
My experience and background in coaching and counseling drive my work with clients. My focus is to understand your personal situation and collaborate with you to address your specific concerns and facilitate breakthroughs, help create positive changes and to reach the goals you set for your therapy experience. I utilize cognitive behavior strategies, strategic interventions, human needs psychology, family systems, while integrating solution-focused, positive psychology and problem-solving techniques. My supportive and nurturing environment (both online and in the office) assists individuals, teens young adults and families to address their difficulties and to help to create solutions which will make a difference in your life. I also have an exciting neuroscience backed "mental fitness" bootcamp program that I offer through my coaching programs. Just ask for more info!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that seeking support is a sign of strength. Whether you are going through a bump in the road or a major life transition, counseling can support you to shift from struggle to create more ease and calm in your life. I will work with you, listening and helping to guide your search for insights which might be keeping you stuck or in pain. I strive to help you in gaining clarity of your situation, as well as enhancing the skills you already know but may not be using in this moment. I will help you move towards the goals we develop together to achieve the potential you desire in your relationships and life. My focus is to help you make life meaningful in a way in which will bring you more happiness and fulfillment in your daily life. Outside of work, I enjoy the outdoors and hiking on trails or mountains or beach. I also enjoy family road trips and travel, photography, reading, theater and new adventures. Telehealth is effective and a convenient way to find new strengths!
