With 5+ years experience working with teens, young adults and families, I want to know the real parts of you, even the ones you might a little scared to face. In working with you, we're going to get curious about who you are, where you've been and where you want to go. And then, we're going to get you there!
My Background and Approach
The pressures of moving from adolescence to adulthood have always been BIG but in a post pandemic world, you’re finding it too overwhelming. Your friendships, your commitments, your future are all creating anxiety, stress and a lot of tears. You’re a hard worker, an overachiever even, on the frequent verge of burnout. You want to be able to advocate for your own needs. You want to know how to have emotionally honest conversations and set boundaries. You want to feel stronger, braver, more confident in yourself, your relationships and your future. You want a fuller life without the burden of shame, embarrassment or self-judgement. I believe in you. I believe that together we can create a deep understanding of the parts of self that hold you back from feeling like your most connected and most confident self. My goal is to create a space free of fear and judgement where you can explore your deepest pain and your greatest worries so that we can build a healthier relationship to self.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a social worker, I’ve worked across a number of spaces including as a sexual assault advocate, a domestic violence counselor, in the child welfare system and in an intensive outpatient for teens, young adults and their families. I’m deeply trauma informed and capable of holding space for all parts of your narrative.
