About My Clients
Have you been feeling stuck and wondering what’s next? Is shame or fear of vulnerability getting in the way of connection? Are you and your partner struggling to be on the same page? I work with clients to develop greater comfort around vulnerability, sex, and connection. While I enjoy working with all couples and individuals, I am especially invested in providing a safe and affirming space for LGBTQIA+ clients.
My Background and Approach
Despite being hardwired for connection, the impacts of self-doubt, anxiety, depression, and other everyday obstacles tend to get in the way. My couples and individuals want to see meaningful change in their lives and they are ready to put in the work. With that, I often describe my style as "caringly confrontational." I provide a validating and nonjudgmental space while calling clients in if something is getting in the way of connection or personal growth. While I predominantly focus my practice on relationships and sex, I also support clients through self-exploration, confidence building, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I have completed Level 1 & Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and a Sexual Health Certificate Program with a concentration in Sex Therapy at the University of Michigan.
