About My Clients
My clients are compassionate, caring individuals who dream of and strive for a world where people are treated with kindness, respect, and dignity. I specialize in working with clients who are seeking to understand and heal from past experiences and relationships, who may be struggling to find belonging and connection, who may feel overwhelmed by their thoughts and feelings and need a safe place to share their story.
My Background and Approach
I am empathetic, non-judgmental, and genuine. I help my clients process their past experiences, challenge defeating thought patterns, uncover their natural strengths, find self-acceptance and healing, and make choices they take pride in. In our work together, we will explore past experiences to understand how they may be showing up in current relationships with others and in your relationship with yourself. Your needs will guide the therapy process. I offer insights based on psychoeducation and incorporate therapy techniques based on your goals. In our sessions, we will come to a greater understanding of your inner struggles and I will assist you in developing tools that you can use on your journey towards personal growth. My approach is conversational and warm. I believe that mental health care should be accessible and I aim to offer affordable therapy options.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I care deeply about issues of social injustice, preserving our environment, raising awareness for abuse prevention, and helping animals. I interned at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's Child Protection Center. I have experience assisting in human and child safety awareness and abuse prevention programs, such as Stewards of Children and anti-trafficking campaign INnocence Atlanta. I have been a certified facilitator for Childhelp’s child abuse prevention program Speak Up Be Safe.
