My Background and Approach
In my approach to therapy, I emphasize the transformative power of grief. I view grief not as an obstacle, but as a gateway to our deepest selves – a portal to our unspoken stories, desires, and our shared humanity. Surrendering to and exploring grief can be a profoundly healing process, revealing aspects of ourselves that have remained hidden or unacknowledged. There is no roadmap in our current culture for navigating grief, and this is something we can explore together. You might not resonate with having grief, which is very common in our culture. My role as a therapist is to create a safe, accepting space where my clients feel seen and understood. Together, we can work to rewrite your narrative and personal mythology. Your story is so important, AND I will meet you where you are because this shit is hard. I am warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental.
