About My Clients
I have been privileged to hear the stories of people who are diverse in culture, ethnicity, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status. I have worked with individuals involved in the legal system as well as those experiencing homelessness. Many of my previous clients have also engaged in therapy to process complicated, difficult, and/or traumatic religious experiences.
My Background and Approach
I work from a foundational belief that humans make sense; while we all have different lenses formed by unique experiences, I can listen well to understand your perspective. To assist in this process, I strive to create a warm and empathic space where trust is earned. While we may all inevitably experience seasons of suffering throughout our lives, I hope to carry your burden with you so you don’t suffer alone. I often employ a relational psychodynamic modality, so I view the relationship between myself and the client as an important aspect of the therapy work (and ultimately, the healing process). I integrate other therapeutic approaches through this lens.
