About My Clients
You’ve done what you were “supposed” to do—yet something still feels off. Maybe you feel like you don’t quite belong, like you're always chasing closeness but still feel unseen, rejected, or not enough. Sex and intimacy may feel distant, confusing, or painful. I help people explore the parts of themselves they've kept quiet—so they can feel safer expressing, connecting, and reclaiming what they long for. This is a space where your truth is welcome. You can be messy, brave, and worthy of love.
My Background and Approach
I'm a licensed clinical professional counselor with advanced training in sex therapy, trauma recovery, and relational work. My approach is rooted in existential-humanistic theory, meaning I focus on your lived experience, agency, and desire for meaning and connection. I integrate process-based methods like Gestalt therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which invite you to slow down, notice your inner world, and deepen emotional awareness in the moment. My clients often carry stories of rejection, shame, or not belonging—especially around intimacy, identity, and relationships. Whether you're queer, non-monogamous, culturally diverse, or simply tired of playing by someone else’s rules, I offer a space to explore who you are beyond the expectations. My work is trauma-informed and culturally responsive. Healing with me is collaborative. The journey isn’t about fixing yourself—it’s about reclaiming your right to feel, connect, and live fully.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens in relationship—with ourselves, with others, and with the world around us.Outside the therapy room, I’m a rider and I have huge passion for horses. Horsemanship has deeply shaped how I understand the therapeutic process. Horses require consistency, responsiveness, and authenticity—qualities that also define safe and growth-fostering human relationships. They teach me how to trust, to co-regulate, to listen with your whole being. That’s the kind of space I aim to hold in therapy - a space to feel, process, and show up more fully as who we already are. I'm also deeply committed to social justice and to dismantling systems that distort our sense of safety and self-worth—including amatonormativity, sex-negativity, and white supremacy culture. I stand with LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities, and I approach therapy with cultural humility, curiosity, and care.
