While therapy is supposed to be a place of acceptance and non-judgement, when it comes to sex some counselors aren't equipped to lovingly work with the kink community. As a kink-aware professional, I have worked with those in the lifestyle and received advanced training and education in the world of kink, fetish, and sex worker culture. Human sexuality is vibrant and varied - your flavor of expression is unique and valued.

As a registered yoga teacher and tantra practitioner, I have seen the power of mindfulness to bring the body into balance and to offer healing to the mind, heart, and spirit. I offer this practice to my counseling clients and yoga students alike: knowing yourself, your experience, and your expectations provides fertile soil to grow into your best, most fulfilled self.

As a licensed marriage and family therapist associate, my education and focus has been on fostering successful relationships between people - whether those are familial, romantic, or sexual. Couples are amazing: building trust, connection, and shared values takes energy! From pre-marital counseling to conflict resolution, I am passionate about this work and the benefits it provides to you, your partner(s), and the community around you.

There are so many facets to who you are, and layers to your experience - and they all deserve loving kindness. By getting to know and understand the parts which make up your whole self, we work to release old hurts and create new patterns. Whether as an individual or in relationships, it's important to learn "where am I speaking from?" and unburden those parts of you that are stuck in painful places so that you can move forward into becoming your most authentic self.

As a member of the queer community, it's deeply important to me that we have providers who understand the immense joy of being LGBTQIA2S+, as well as the unique traumas and discrimination we can face. I became a counselor to serve my community, and work to create a space where you don't have to explain yourself anymore - you can just be held with understanding while you work to become your best, healthiest, most full self.

We all go through phases in our relationships that are tricky... but most of us aren't taught how to navigate the challenges with grace. When one (or more!) of us in the relationship has experienced pain or trauma, connecting and engaging can feel impossible. I love working with couples who feel 'stuck' and just want to get back to feeling like "we're on the same team." Whether the concerns are with your sex life, your finances, or your in-laws, we can talk it through.

Art brings the power of mindfulness and the joy of self-expression together to foster some truly magical healing. Being able to play, to express yourself without words, and to create a new felt experience is one of the most effective (and enjoyable) ways to heal. You don't have to be "good at art" to find peace and release through creation... you just have to give it a try.

You might've heard that "the body keeps the score", but what does that even mean? You can use the body's own mechanics and systems to repair past trauma, understand the weight you've been carrying, and finally start to FEEL better. Talk therapy is great, but when you feel like you've hit a wall, somatic therapy can help you get to the next level.

Getting to know (and like) yourself isn't as straightforward as it seems. We use expressive arts, somatic practices, and parts-based therapies to discover who you are and develop skills that help you truly blossom. Whether that's working through trauma, finding your voice, or creating safe places to experiment in, you can be totally vibrant.
