I have a passion for working with adolescents, and families in order to assist them in developing and utilizing the necessary coping skill to manage and thrive during difficult times and life transitions. Assisting the individuals in learning improved coping skills to improve their life experiences. I have years of experience working with individuals, teens, and families utilizing interventions from cognitive behavioral therapy, strength-based approaches and mindfulness practices.
My Background and Approach
I received my Master's Degree in Psychology with the emphasis on Applied Clinical Psychology from California State University, Fullerton. I have over 30 years experience working Community based, Outpatient settings. My specialties include depression, anxiety, coping skills management, interpersonal conflict resolution, and stress management. My approach in helping clients connect their thoughts, feelings, and actions through Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy.
