About My Clients
Maybe you need support in navigating pregnancy or the newborn stage, or maybe you’re dealing with the pain of infertility, pregnancy loss, or childbirth trauma. Certified in Perinatal Mental Health, I guide couples and individuals through the transformative journey of welcoming new life. Specifically, I love supporting queer couples navigating their fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum journey. Beyond the perinatal period, I help clients enhance communication and navigate neurodivergency.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Washington, I am specifically trained in family and relationship systems. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, I have specific training in helping couples and individuals explore how their formative relationships and experiences impact their present ones. I have been formally trained in the Gottman Method of couples therapy and love helping couples build their friendship, have safe and successful conflict, and guide conversations around their hopes and dreams for the future. I am solution-oriented and as such want to help you get tools and techniques to improve your life right now. I am also a Certified Prepare & Enrich Premarital Facilitator, as well as a Certified Bringing Baby Home Provider, which has provided me the knowledge and tools to guide you whether you are transitioning into marriage or into becoming a cohesive parenting unit.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My life experiences include being a queer, fat, white cis-woman living with chronic illness and a neurodivergent mind. I believe it can be very impactful to know your therapist has similar life experiences, but welcome those from all walks of life into my therapy room. I believe all people should have access to learn how to create healthy, happy relationships and lives, regardless of their sexuality, race, religion, relationship status, or relationship structure.
