About My Clients
Do you ever doubt yourself or shy away from activities that would make your life more fulfilling? Do you ever find yourself trapped by destructive habits that you can't seem to shake? Welcome. I am experienced in supporting individuals with trauma, eating disorders, anxiety, and depression, as well as new parents and individuals weathering difficult transitions or losses. I also have special insight into the specific needs of artists and individuals in creative and high stress careers.
My Background and Approach
I have trained in mindfulness-based therapies and bring to session a deep curiosity about how healing can occur in the here and now, whatever happened then. Furthermore, we can pull from cognitive behavioral, feminist and creative arts therapies depending on your individual needs. Prior to training as a psychotherapist, I taught creative writing in various educational and clinical settings. I have worked in residential and inpatient eating disorder treatment, as well as in outpatient and community mental health. I deeply value the diversity of human experience and the power of seeking.
