About My Clients

I have special insight into the needs of artists, new parents, and individuals in high stress careers, and bring a trauma-informed approach to exploring themes of body image and disordered eating.

My Background and Approach

My style is warm, curious and collaborative. I believe in the healing power of having a safe space to talk through what is going on with someone who can help you understand why things may be feeling the way they are feeling. I also believe in the importance of developing new skills and strategies for greeting life’s difficulties, our thoughts, and our feelings. I am a provider of the Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM), a gentle, somatic, consent-based model for supporting individuals with acute stress and PTSD. I’ve also completed Level One Training in Hakomi Mindful Somatic Psychology, and have studied and received training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am certified through Postpartum Support International to provide specialized mental health support for perinatal mental health, and teach Gottman's Bringing Baby Home to new parents.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
