As someone with ADHD myself, I can understand firsthand how neurodivergence can be both a strength and a barrier. Whether you've completed formal testing or have self-diagnosed, we'll work together to help you navigate a neurotypical world. We'll explore the ways that ADHD shows up in your life and create new habits, perspectives, and routines to make life a little bit easier. We'll also make space for the tangle of emotions that come with an ADHD diagnosis - and share some laughs along the way.

Exploring your sexuality can be exciting, liberating, confusing, and scary. My path to queerness was anything but straight (hah!), but there is no right or wrong way to discover who you are. No matter where you are in your journey, my office is a safe and affirming space to explore all aspects of your identity. Possible topics and issues to discuss include embracing and accepting your identity, finding community, navigating changing relationships, and rediscovering joy in who you are.

Trauma comes in all shapes and sizes, and shows up differently in each person. If a past or recurring experience left you feeling unsafe, disturbed, or defenseless, you may have experienced trauma. These emotions can stay locked in your body long after the event and can impact your thoughts, behavior, relationships, and physical health. Together, we will use EMDR to process your pain and trauma in a safe and supportive environment.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is an evidence-based therapy involving mindfulness, values exploration, and behavior change strategies to help you find harmony and joy in your life. We'll practice grounding and mindfulness techniques (not just meditation!) to become more present and work to accept your thoughts and feelings as they are. We'll also identify your key values and create strategies for living a values-based lifestyle.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is all about how our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other, and learning to use that influence for good. We'll identify the negative beliefs causing you distress and practice gently pushing back on them. We'll also learn to recognize and defuse unhelpful thought patterns before they can steal your joy. I like to pair CBT with emotional expression and somatic experiences for a full mind/body healing process.

EMDR is an evidence-based treatment for reprocessing trauma in a safe and effective way. It uses bilateral stimulation (think: back and forth) to change the way your brain and body react to a painful memory or experience. You'll won't relive your trauma and you don't even have to share details - the processing is all internal. EMDR is most often used with people with trauma, but is also a great option for people who want to go a bit deeper than just talk therapy.
