We are committed to treating the whole person, not just the symptoms, through methods and techniques that address the root of the issue.
Our Personal Beliefs and Interests
We believe in each individual's capacity to heal and grow. In fact, the symptoms that brought you to therapy can be seen as having an intelligence of their own. We learned these survival strategies to get us through difficult challenges, but now they might be getting in the way of a fulfilling life. At HMR, we are compassionately curious about each new person who seeks out our services. We understand that the use of skillful interventions is not enough, but must be held within the larger context of the mystery and sacredness of human connection. This depth-based approach is individualized and collaborative. We wish for each of our clients to be deeply seen and understood as we weave together a variety of experiential and somatic modalities that compliment and go beyond traditional talk therapy.
