About My Clients
Are you a woman, adolescent, young adult, or athlete struggling with identity, self-esteem, anxiety, or life transitions? You don’t have to face it alone. I specialize in supporting individuals with these challenges, including substance use and co-occurring disorders.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy and am a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (BBS #149945). By December, I will also be certified as a Life Coach and Executive Coach through the International Coaching Federation (ICF). My background equips me to help clients not only with emotional and mental challenges but also with setting and achieving personal goals. I specialize in working with adolescents, young adults, athletes, and women facing substance use and co-occurring disorders like personality and dissociative disorders. My experience in these areas means I understand the complexities you may face and can offer tailored strategies to help you heal and grow. Using a blend of Humanistic and Solution-Focused approaches, I help clients build self-awareness, resilience, and practical skills in a safe space where they can explore challenges and develop the tools for growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m proud to be an African American therapist who is actively involved in my community. I regularly participate in local events, including suicide prevention initiatives, because I believe in giving back and supporting those in need. I’m passionate about mental health advocacy and committed to reducing the stigma surrounding mental health, especially within underserved communities. By staying connected to these causes, I aim to offer my clients a deeper sense of understanding, empathy, and culturally sensitive care. I’m here to help you on your journey toward healing and personal growth, with a focus on creating a safe, inclusive space for all.
