About My Clients

My Background and Approach
Growing up in NH was hard. I never thought I’d come back, but now that I’m here I focus my energy on helping fellow alternative folx heal and grow using methods from various clinical experiences to create a style of healing that works for people who want to do more than just sit and talk. As an artist and SoulCollage® Facilitator I know that creative expression can heal deeply. As a life-long animal lover I know that connection with nature and animals can spark connection and groundedness faster than other interventions. As a highly trained clinician I know that teaching concrete skills is necessary for changing behaviors. And as a NYC trained social worker I know that social justice is at the core of all fights for equity and inclusion. My Values as a Therapist
I believe in equity and justice. Systems in our country are broken, designed to set many people up for unnecessary struggle. Through years of volunteer work with the New Hampshire Chapter of The National Association for Social Workers’ Clinical Committee, I have rallied social workers to share their knowledge and take meaningful action toward causes including access to quality mental health services, fair and unbiased laws relating to LGBTQIA+ folx, disrupting institutionalized discrimination of BIPOC folx, reproductive freedom for all, and systemic income disparities. And personally, I also stand for intersectional feminism, the fair treatment of animals, respectful/gentle parenting, body-positivity/Health At Every Size, body autonomy, and conscious consumption. I believe in the inherent worth, dignity, and interconnectedness of all beings. I believe in art, love, respect, and consent. I believe individuals can make make meaningful change for themselves and our world.
