About My Clients

Seeking out therapy is both a scary and courageous act. I am here to be a core support for you or your relationship through your time in therapy. I work with teens, adult individuals and relationships. Feeling disconnected from yourself or from those around you can be lonely and confusing. I am here to help explore those difficult experiences you may be facing, and identify what can help you and your relationship.

My Background and Approach

I believe that people are relational beings that innately crave connection with others and reach for it in the best way they know how. My work is approached from a collaborative blend of different theories including Attachment, Emotion-Focused, and Internal Family Systems. Some of my goals with using these theories are to increase awareness and insight around patterns in relationships, using our emotions in times of distress as information rather as something to avoid, family of origin influence, thought patterns, attachment style, and what purpose our maladaptive behaviors are serving us to get our needs met and where we learned them. Through our exploration I hope to help both relationships and individuals better understand themselves and their relationships with those around them. It takes consistent, repetitive practice to learn new patterns and implement change.
