About My Clients

I have worked with BIPOC and sexually/gender diverse individuals navigating trauma, self-esteem/identity issues, relationship/family conflict, depression/anxiety, polyamory, and culture-specific challenges. I am passionate about working with individuals from historically marginalized communities as a South Asian LGBTQ+ immigrant woman myself.

My Background and Approach

I strive to create a space that is driven by curiosity, compassion, and humor. I recognize how our experience of existing within unjust systems can take a toll on us. As such, my approach is anti-oppressive, trauma-informed and integrates modalities like psychodynamic, feminist-multicultural, person-centered, CBT and narrative therapy.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a South Asian bisexual immigrant woman, I value an intersectional approach to therapy. We are a sum of all our parts, and each of these facets of our identity desires to feel safe, loved, and accepted. I believe that an inclusive, empowering, and supportive therapeutic environment can be transformational.
