My Background and Approach
Offering Individual, Couples, and LGBTQIA+ Affirming Therapy, I specialize in treating anxiety in relationships, depression, self-confidence issues, emotional disconnection, lack of direction, grief, and suicidal ideation. My approach integrates gestalt, emotion-focused, and ACT techniques to explore underlying experiences that keep you feeling the way you do while you gain new tools for managing stress, relationships, boundaries, and uncertainty. Through the use of somatic approaches, you will be able to move underlying emotional experiences which may be resistant or inaccessible to traditional talk therapy alone.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Open-hearted and open-minded, I provide a safe, collaborative environment where you can share your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. Through my eclectic professional experiences in mental health counseling, hospitality, yoga teaching, and massage therapy, I continue to seek opportunities to be of service to others. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, this perspective motivates me to give back through volunteer work in suicide prevention and community engagement. I understand the importance of meeting you where you are in your authentic self. Together, we’ll find what is holding you back from confidently living your life on your terms.
