About My Clients
When your relationship is suffering, you're suffering. Sometimes, incredibly so. Maybe the person you used to feel so close to now seems more like a distant stranger. Maybe a betrayal has left you outraged and alone. Maybe all the fighting and miscommunication makes you wonder at times what you ever saw in your partner at all. My clients are couples, individuals and families who want to love each other more fully and strengthen their bonds.
My Background and Approach
Research shows the vast majority of couples who undergo emotionally focused couple therapy (or "EFT") move from distress to recovery. Working together using EFT techniques, I will help you mend the broken places between you so that you can experience a deeper, more intimate connection with each other.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My mission is to help couples and families love one another more fully and to strengthen their attachment bonds. I believe love is love and I welcome clients who identify as LGBTQIA. When I'm not doing therapy, my favorite place to be is under a shade tree in my backyard with my spouse of 25 years, my three children, or my extended family and friends.
