About My Clients
I work with neurotypical and neurodiverse individuals facing challenges such as substance (mis)use, BPD, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, OCD, and life transitions. I’ll walk with you through your therapy journey, supporting you through tough moments and celebrating your growth and clarity, while tailoring sessions to your unique needs and goals.
My Background and Approach
In my practice, you are the expert on your own lived experiences, and I honor and validate your unique journey. My approach is tailored to meet your specific needs and goals, using a combination of dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to help you build confidence, heal, and grow. Together, we’ll create a safe, supportive space where you can show up exactly as you are, free from judgment, as we work together to challenge, validate, and affirm your experiences, empowering you to move forward at your own pace.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Growing up I struggled with my emotions guiding my behaviors. Sometimes in went in my favor but oftentimes it did not which brought on even more emotions. What I've learned over the years and as a therapist is that all of our emotions are valid and we have them for a reason. They provide us important information. What we don't want happening is for all of our emotions to dictate our behaviors. Therapy has provided me with validation and tools to ensure that I'm managing my emotions and they aren't managing me.
