Therapy works best in an environment where you feel safe. I believe a healthy, connected, secure relationship with oneself and others is how we heal trauma and change behaviors that no longer serve us. That’s why we’ll take the time to develop a connected, trusting relationship so you can bring it all. While I can be direct, client's have described me as warm, approachable, and easy to talk to.
Integrating evidenced-based modalities, I collaborate with clients to tailor therapy sessions to your needs, adjusting as we go. My approach to therapy includes trauma-informed, relational practices. We’ll work to find the best way for you to regulate your energy and connect with your emotions and your body’s sensations.
With years of experience in the non-profit substance abuse field, I have a passion for helping the underserved. I currently work with an organization that provides trauma-focused equine therapy to survivors of sex trafficking in the Austin area.
An LGBTQIA2S+ ally who is passionate about social justice, I welcome all cultures, bodies, abilities, and identities.
I’ve worked with attorneys, nerds and gamers, parents of newborns to adult children, teachers and academics–and even other therapists.
No matter who you are or what you’ve gone through, I don’t judge. I’m here to listen to you, laugh with you, and probably even cuss with you.
When I’m not being a therapist, I’m walking my dogs while listening toTrue Crime podcasts. I love horseback riding, hiking, and camping in west Texas. I like to spend sleepy afternoons curled up watching a movie with my family or reading with a book with a cat in my lap.
