About My Clients
What's up! I'm Ryan. I help men become the best version of themselves- the best son, boyfriend, husband, father, or friend. Common clients: men, dudes, guys, dads, sons, males, macho men, and other men. Sometimes, their partner joins us too. New dads. Men who want to be more emotionally available. Men who want to deal with stress or anger better. Depression and anxiety. Grief. Relationships.
My Background and Approach
My resume includes roles as a son, husband, father, and friend. It also includes previous roles in sales and marketing. I'm also an adjunct professor at Lipscomb University. My approach is down to earth and practical. I try to just be a normal dude in the room with another dude, talking about how to be the best version of themself. I might ask some tough questions. I might challenge you. I might hold space while you process hard stuff. I might share some ideas. I might offer some resources. I've got some additional experience and training in working with men, working with new dads or dads-in-the-making, postpartum mental health, and couples stuff.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that people are doing the best they can with what they have. And I believe everyone needs a little help sometimes. Did you have a coach or pastor or teacher or father figure or mentor or whatever help you out at times? Take you to coffee? Get to know you? We all need some help, encouragement, a listening ear sometime. Give therapy a chance. Fun facts: -- I'm not related to Dave Chappelle.
