About My Clients

My specialties are grief and neurodiversity. I have a special affinity for neurodivergent and highly sensitive people, as well as those who are experiencing anxiety, both personal and existential. In addition, I see many clients experiencing grief and loss after any life transition, and also adults suffering with an illness (terminal, chronic, dementia related) and their caregivers. Adults and couples welcome.

My Background and Approach

I am an IFS-informed therapist, working with clients to help them to grow, find calm and love themselves better. I use parts therapy, buddhist psychology and nonviolent communication to help clients explore all parts of themselves without judgement, especially those parts that are in shadow. Our goal is to move toward connection, emotional liberation and more joyful living. I'm a big fan of storytelling, humor, poetry and art as inspiration for exploring the self and value the power of meditation as an adjunct to therapy sessions. I'd love to meet you!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that everything we do is an attempt to feel safe, and that shifting away from judgement toward open-hearted curiosity is often the beginning of gaining a deeper understanding of oneself for the purpose of igniting both compassion for others and for ourselves. The collaborative process of therapy can help you learn to work with your emotions, and get a better understanding of your own needs and desires, which will, in turn create more ease and intimacy in your relationships.
