My goal is to help you gain self-understanding and self-compassion so you can enjoy a more fulfilling and expansive life.
Marriage & Family Therapist in Lafayette, CA
Supervised by Katie Malone, LMFT
I have a long history of supporting the dying, the bereaved and also caregivers of the terminally ill. I help clients bring love and acceptance to their circumstances with a focus on healing that can be an integral part of ones legacy. Together we create a powerful space for end of life issues in a culture that typically denies grief and death.
I have a special affinity for highly sensitive people and enjoy helping them to get a better understanding and acceptance of their own needs while also celebrating their unique strengths.
When we are young and have little control over our circumstances, we establish relational patterns that endure for much or all of our lives. My training in attachment theory informs my ability to help clients uncover the attachment wounds that have shaped them. I help clients bring compassion and understanding to these tender spots so that they can tend to them lovingly and move toward healing.
I am deeply inspired by Internal Family Systems and use it as inspiration for helping clients understand their parts and reconnect with their core Self, the part of them that is infinitely wise, loving and undamaged. We work together to bring all parts into balance, to promote Self Leadership and emotional freedom.
